Dear Dorothy,

Thank you for your services performed on my daughter, Nicole. I have noticed tremendous changes since you began doing Brain Gym® and NeuroKinesiology on her. Her ability for abstract thinking has been the most profound change. For someone who was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder as a child, and at 18 years of age diagnosed with Border Line Personality Disorder, one of her biggest challenges has been abstract thinking, or high-level thinking.

Abstract thinking is supposed to develop between the ages of 8-12. Concrete learning is typically developed fully by then. The absence of abstract thinking is pervasive in Autism, ADD, ADHD, Schizophrenia and other learning disabilities.

Mature abstract thinking is apparent when one is able to see the consequences of their actions, or the cause and effect of their actions. Other examples of abstract thinking are: appropriate, mature social skills; improved reading comprehension and other reading skills; increased enjoyment of reading; and taking full responsibility for one’s actions.

Nicole’s abstract thinking ability has improved dramatically as a result of your work, Dorothy. She is now able to analyze her behavior, figure out why she was acting out, take responsibility for her problem behavior and is no longer blaming others. In addition to this remarkable change, she is able to recognize the negative affect her behavior has on others, especially the family. Of all the changes I have seen occur in Nicole I am most impressed with the profound improvement of the left and right brain connections which have greatly improved her abstract thinking abilities.

Another indication of her improved thinking skills is her recent decision to cut back on her medications, which were causing her to sleep excessively and to detach from interacting with her world.

Finally, your work with infant reflexes has made left and right brain connections to occur in Nicole and she has now moved into reading better, wanting to read and enjoying reading.

We are very pleased and grateful for your work with Brain Gym® and NeuroKinesiology, Dorothy. We are now seeing our daughter truly happy and becoming the person we always knew was there.

Sincerely,
Dr. John Carlston, DC
